This work, created in the technique called Encaustic, was inspired by energy of Coney Island and its surrounding atmosphere by the sea.

The technique of Encaustic uses wax burned into wood which creates a rich protective seal around intense color.

The wax is applied layer over layer with a blow torch building up colors in a 3D effect.
